Small Crochet Rose Bouquet

A friend of mine whom I knew since secondary school is getting marry end of this month. She is actually a younger sister of my friend / ex-(class mate / church mate cum room mate) ;p.

Knowing that she is going to migrate after married and might be shifting from country to country due to her future husband's work nature, I decided bless her with something that is small and light for her wedding.

My initial plan was to crochet some flowers similar to the crochet pot flowers but maybe this time in a vase instead of a pot, and with a bunch of roses. With very limited time i have, crochet a vase that is nice and steady enough to hold a bunch of roses and how to attach the roses to the vase... etc... doesn't seem easy.

Along with much trial and error, and some 'spontaneous' ideas, it turn out to be more like a small hand bouquet... Oops!

Honestly, I am not sure what colour she likes, and  it is meant to be a surprise gift, so I guess, red should be safe as for chinese wedding gift. Hope she would like it. ;)

Crochet White Carnation Bouquet
